About Cowslip Cottage

Cowslip Cottage is a cosy mid-terrace cottage, one of three tucked away in the seaside village of Broad Haven, set just a 3 minute walk from its beautiful sandy beach. Renovated throughout in a contemporary style with a fresh seaside theme to reflect its proximity to the beach. There is a small, modern, well-equipped fitted kitchen leading through to the light lounge/diner with comfortable leather corner sofa to relax and cosy up.

A French door leads out to the enclosed paved rear courtyard, the perfect sheltered sunny spot to enjoy a summer’s evening barbecue or drink. Stairs from the sitting room lead up to the two bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor.

Conveniently located, there is a popular village pub, restaurants, shop and cafe on the seafront, just a short stroll away, as well as a water sports hire shop ideal for surfers and other water sports enthusiasts. Spend your days on the beach so close to the house or take to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path to explore this stunning coastline, at low tide you can stroll along the beach to the neighbouring village of Little Haven with its pretty sheltered in-let and excellent pubs and restaurants, popular with sailors and kayakers; this village lies just over the headland. In the other direction are the pretty coves of Druidston and Nolton Haven, make sure you try a horseback ride on the beach sure to be the highlight of any trip.

A little further afield is the glorious long sandy beach of Newgale also popular with surfers and families and well catered for with a seaside cafe, pub and shop, while to the south lies the Dale peninsula with a selection of wonderful beaches.

We’ve had a lovely week. Cottage is in a fabulous location and equipped with everything we needed. Well set out to accommodate our two dogs, the child gate is a great idea to keep them separated from lounge when returning from the lovely walks. Beach great, food at St. Brides Bay Little Haven really good. Try their ice cream sundaes if you have a good appetite. Thank you.
